The Port of Liverpool Building is a Grade II listed structure, built in 1904.  KGA were appointed from 2008 to 2012 to prepare design drawings and specifications for a new fire alarm installation, new lighting and emergency lighting, including rewiring throughout the communal areas, refurbishment of the toilets including the provision of a water boosting installation, and removal of multiple air source heat pump installations from the roof of the building, replacing them with two central air cooled condensers located in an internal courtyard.  New condenser water pipework was then provided throughout the building, to enable internal water cooled condensing units to be installed to serve the various tenancies.
